Steven M. Roberts, DVM, MS, DACVO Dr. Roberts has been involved exclusively in veterinary ophthalmology since 1981 and was board certified by the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in 1984, after finishing a residency at Colorado State University. Following the residency, Dr. Roberts was an assistant professor of ophthalmology at North Carolina State University from 1984-1987 and then returned to Colorado State University. At CSU, he was an assistant professor from 1987-1992 and then was promoted to associate professor from 1992-1997. Following six years as associate professor Dr. Roberts established Animal Eye Center in January of 1998.
Holly L. Hamilton, DVM, MS, DACVO Dr. Hamilton began to focus
on veterinary ophthalmology after completing an internship in 1991, by
starting a masters program at Auburn University. The following year a
clinical residency was started. Her residency at Auburn University was
completed in 1995 and she was board certified by the American College
of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in 1996. After the residency, Dr.
Hamilton served as an assistant professor of ophthalmology at Louisiana
State University. She joined Animal Eye Center in July of 1999.
The Animal Eye Center, PC staff includes: Two veterinary ophthalmologists (Dr. Steven M. Roberts and Dr. Holly L. Hamilton), two ophthalmic nurses (Senesa Stinebaugh, and Michele Lohry), a veterinary nurse anesthetist (Anne Golden), two receptionists (Teresa Dreier and Susan Carlisle), and an office manager (Rachel Fulton).
